Went to Portugal during Reading week and boy, was it such a refreshing change from gloomy old London. We had lots of sun and we were wearing our "summer" clothes especially when it got hotter in the noon as we peeled off our layers. And we ate lots of seafood!!! I practically ate fish for every meal that I could, knowing that fresh fish is a rare commodity once I return. Pastries are huge in Portugal too and we feasted on lots of Portuguese egg tarts. Enough said ...

Quite a bit of bad luck on the first day cuz Porto was foggy. Still remembered looking out of the plane trying to see the city from the sky but only seeing lots and lots of clouds. Then, the plane suddenly landed out of nowhere, during which I realise that it's foggy outside. Since there was nothing much we could do and the weather was dreadful too, we proceeded to Lisbon earlier than planned.

Portuguese egg tarts!!! We had lots of these and bought A LOT of it back too. They had a lot more pastries and we normally go to a pastry shop for breakfast where we order tea or coffee and a few pastries. And it's really cheap too and kind of reminds me of the coffeeshops in Singapore.

The stadium of Benfica Football Club, called Stadium of Lights I think. Not too sure what it's called but one things is for sure: the stadium is one of the more aesthetically pleasing ones I have seen so far, the other being Emirates. Only me and zhenqiang paid to go in and take a look.

And the strange thing is they have a live eagle in the flagship store, which is their mascot. How kewl~
A video I took of the interior of the stadium.

Group photo which I took using the timer function and had to run like mad to make it.

The group of us who went on the trip: Jane, Ivan, Steph, Evelyn, Me, Kelvin, Kandy and Zhenqiang

On Valentine's Day, the guys got the girls a bouquet of flowers ....and I ended up carrying for them and looking like a garden whilst walking down the streets of Porto

A clear view of Porto, unlike the first day, with Kelvin, Jane and Kandy
